BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Ronald Barrow, 73, of Beaver Dam, died Thursday, April 18, at OHRH in Owensboro, Kentucky. Ron was born in Cool Springs, Kentucky, to the late Curdis and Mary Kathryn Thienes Barrow.
Ron was a retired underground coal miner having worked for Peabody Coal, Pyro Coal, and Sextet Coal. He enjoyed woodworking and working on cars.
Ron was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Patricia Ann Burden Barrow, and a brother Jervis Lee Barrow.
Ron leaves behind his companion of 10 years, Sharon Joines; two sons, Joel (Heather) Barrow and Jarrod (Rachelle) Barrow; three grandchildren, Landon, Ethan, and Claire Barrow; two brothers, Terry Barrow and Marvin Barrow; and 1 sister, Sandy Barrow Vincent.
Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Christopher Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Cool Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
