BEAVER DAM, Ky. — With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Teresa Marie Melton, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, aged 63, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Teresa peacefully departed this world on April 16, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on Jan. 14, 1961, in Hartford, Kentucky, to the late Larry O’Neal Wallace and the late Vonnoie Wallace.
Teresa was a gentle soul who found joy in the simple pleasures of life.
Educated and wise, Teresa dedicated her years to creating a comforting home and being a loving mother to her son, Joshua Melton. A compassionate and giving sister to Karen Haven, Anita Clouse, Larry Wallace, and Stephen Wallace. She was also a loving aunt to Jonathan Wallace (Suzanne), Jacob Haven (Nicole), Matthew Clouse, Simon Clouse (Brittany), Dakota Wallace (Ivy Rose), Tyanne Wallace, Shyanne Wallace, Hayden Wallace, Kaleb Wallace. Teresa’s nurturing spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
In her leisure time, Teresa found solace in the beauty of nature and the comfort of her favorite television programs. Her kind heart and warm smile will be forever missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
A public visitation to honor Teresa’s memory will take place at McHenry Baptist Church on April 18, at 12 noon until 3 p.m. followed by a reflective memorial service at 3 p.m. As we gather to remember and celebrate Teresa’s life, may we find solace in the cherished moments shared with her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever live on in our hearts.
