FRANKFORT, Ky. — Unemployment rates rose in 115 counties between January 2023 and January 2024, fell in Bullitt, Spencer and Meade counties, and remained the same in Magoffin and Nelson counties, according to the Kentucky Center for Statistics, an agency of the Kentucky Education and Labor Cabinet.
