HARTFORD, Ky. — Doshia Crump, 90, passed away on Feb. 27, 2024, in Hartford, surrounded by her family. Doshia Crump was born on Sept. 30, 1933, in White Plains, Kentucky, to Owen Graddy and Alma Berry.
Doshia graduated from Hopkins County High School and after taking several college classes was able to secure a job in bookkeeping.
Doshia married Carl Crump and to this union, three children were born. Doshia was best known for enjoying and cheering on her UK basketball team, reading and playing Skip-Bo.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by her children, Jeff Crump (Reba), Barry Crump, and Carl Gene Crump (Cinda); one brother, Bobby Graddy; two sisters, Nora Faye Dixon and Alma Mae Priar; five grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday, March 1, at Hartford Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 1, at Hartford Funeral Home with Bro.Brad Robinson officiating.
Burial will be in the New Bethel Cemetery.
