CENTRAL CITY, Ky. — Della Mae Foster Arndell, 93, of Central City, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2024, at her home. Della was born Oct. 26, 1930, in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, and was a homemaker and member of Martwick Baptist Church.
She enjoyed shopping, fish, and spend time with her family. She made sure all her precious grandchildren and five generations of family received a birthday card and acknowledgment.
She traveled to numerous states on the back of a motorcycle and enjoyed life so much.
Della was preceded in death by her first husband, Phillip Foster, and second husband, Thomas Arndell; son, Melvin Joe Foster; sister, Doris Mason; brother, Richard “Buddy” Mason; daughter-in-law, Linda Foster; parents, Melvin and Stella Mason.
She is survived by her daughters, Millie (Bill) Nelson, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and Julie (Dean) Fraze, of Nelson Creek, Kentucky; grandchildren, Tammy (Mike) Burden, Debbie (Jeff) Embry, Jimmy (Tracy) Fraze, Missy (Tim) Davis, Jill (Troy) Hobgood, Kim (Terry) Jacobs, JoJo (Lisa) Foster; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 19, at 1 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Jerry Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City. Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 18, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
