Martin Lynn Likins

GREENVILLE, Ky. — Martin Lynn Likins, 78, passed away on the morning of Feb. 12, 2024, at OH-Muhlenberg Community Hospital.

Lynn was an important part of his community, first as a pharmacist at King Drug in Hartford and then as head of pharmacy at the Ohio County Hospital. He was also a member of the Hartford City Council from 1984-1998, and one of the founding members of the Ohio County Fair Board. Most recently he was head of pharmacy at the Greenville Hospital.

If you knew Lynn, chances are you liked him. He was funny and thoughtful, loved a good joke, and didn’t suffer fools. He spent his entire adult life contributing to his community and family, which he loved very much.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilda and Martin Luther Likins.

Survivors include Kirker Butler, Linda Likins, Karen Harryman, Indie Butler, Cleo Butler, and Bruce and Mary Ann McKeown.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, please go out and have a nice dinner with your loved ones. Tell stories, laugh, and enjoy each other’s company. Raise a glass of Maker’s and water, or sweet tea, and share a good joke.

Visitation will be 12 noon until 6 p.m. (CST) Monday, Feb. 19, and 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Hartford Funeral Home with services 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20. Burial will follow in the Rosehill-Elmwood Cemetery.
