HARTFORD, Ky. — Jennifer Whittaker Woods, of Hartford, passed away Feb. 7, 2024, at her home in Hartford. She was born Aug. 12, 1972, to the late Freddie Whittaker and Susie Whittaker Geary.
Jennifer was a member of Barnetts Creek Baptist Church and worked for the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office for 10 years. Jennifer was an avid KY Wildcat basketball fan, NASCAR and loved Hank Williams Jr.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Tim Whittaker, and stepfather, Dallas Geary.
Survivors include her son, Jesse Woods (Emily Raymer); her mother, Susie Whittaker Geary; brother, Jason Whittaker (Kim); nieces and nephews, Tiffany Whittaker, Aaron Whittaker, Kelsey Whittaker, Aulton Whittaker, Calee Whittaker, and Jadyn Whittaker; and several great-nieces and -nephews; and a special friend, Jeni Braden Carman.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Aaron Whittaker and Bro. Steve Leach officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
