OWENSBORO, Ky. — Kentucky AARP will present Owensboro Scam Jam from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at the International Bluegrass Museum in Owensboro. The IBM is at 311 W 2nd St. in Owensboro.
AARP is arming Kentuckians with the tools needed to spot and avoid scams before they happen. Attendees will learn about the latest frauds and scams with the Kentucky Office of Attorney General and other professionals.
This is a free community event featuring special presentations on identity theft, investment fraud, cybercrime, mail fraud and more.
Registration is required. A free lunch will be provided with registration. Check-in opens at 9 a.m.
Door prizes will be available. Bring a friend and visit with the exhibitors.
