BEAVER DAM, Ky. — With the Beaver Dam Farmer’s Market season currently underway, the annual Kids at the Market day is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 19, at the Beaver Dam Farmers Market Pavilion in the Beaver Dam Park. While the Beaver Dam Farmers Market is open from 8 a.m.-noon every Friday through October, all Kids at the Market events will take place from 9 a.m.-11 a.m.
There will be plenty of free activities for children at the farmers market that day, including a fruit and veggie scavenger hunt, a milk cow, pony rides, a petting zoo, ice cream, balloon animals, face painting, crafts and door prizes. In addition, the Western Kentucky Raptor Center will visit the farmers market that day.
As always, the Beaver Dam Farmers Market will offer a variety of fruit, vegetables, meat, bread, sweets, art and crafts and much more.
The Beaver Dam Park is at 217 S. Main St. in Beaver Dam.
