OWENSBORO, Ky. — Owensboro Community & Technical College is offering students a one-stop enrollment opportunity every Thursday during July. These one-stop events are constructed for the busy adult learner juggling job and family responsibilities. The college will have staff on hand to help with one-on-one advising regarding enrollment, financial aid, scheduling, and other items that prospective students need to complete for the fall semester. The goal is to make the enrollment process as simple and fast as possible.
“We know many students and parents are anxious about college, but we want to relieve that anxiety and try to make the process as easy as possible,” said Dr. Scott Williams, OCTC President.
OCTC will host Express Enrollment at the main campus, at 4800 New Hartford Road, in the Campus Center from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. July 13, 20, and 27. Anyone interested in applying and enrolling for the fall semester can walk in or schedule a personal appointment by calling 270-686-4418 or email octc.STARTCenter@kctcs.edu to schedule an online or phone meeting.
“While we are making a collaborative effort for Express Enrollment days, we want to encourage anyone that is ready to visit the START Center any day or schedule an appointment at their convenience,” said Dr. Ashleigh Crowe, OCTC Vice President of Student Affairs. “For those interested in aid, you can apply online at https://studentaid.gov/ or bring a copy of 2021 tax returns, and we will have staff to help guide you through the process.”
