HARTFORD, Ky. — Are you the primary caregiver to a child two years of age or younger? Researchers at the University of Kentucky are inviting you to participate in a research study about nutrition for your growing infant or toddler.
You may be eligible to participate if you:
- Are at least 14 years of age
- Live in Kentucky
- Are expecting a child or are the primary caregiver of at least one child two years of age or younger.
- Are eligible for or participate in the SNAP or the WIC program.
If eligible, you will be asked to participate in a 90-minute group discussion and complete a short survey. After participating, you will receive a $30 gift card. A meal will also be provided.
The discussion and survey will help UK and the Ohio County Cooperative Extension Office learn more about how they can better serve expectant parents and parents/cargivers of babies and toddlers. The hope is to recruit at least 12 people to attend the research study to collect information.
If you are interested in participating in the study, visit this site before June 2. A research team member will follow up to confirm eligibility and get you scheduled.
