OWENSBORO, Ky. — RiverValley Behavioral Health will host a grand opening for The Onyx Center, a 16-bed residential alcohol and substance use recovery center for men, Thursday, May 25.

The facility, located in Owensboro, will assist those seeking recovery in developing a healthy, productive, alcohol and substance-free life. We strive for excellence in providing quality, individualized alcohol and substance use treatment services in a residential setting to clients while engaging families in education and healing in order to empower change and success for our clients.

The program will operate under the direction of a Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol Counselor and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. The program’s counselors are specially trained in addiction counseling and dedicated to helping clients adjust to life without dependency on alcohol or substance use.
