HARTFORD, Ky. — Linda Gail Miller, 73, of Hartford, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Ballard Harold Morris and Mary Louise Holhouser Morris.

Mrs. Miller retired from the Butler County Board of Education and attended Temple View General Baptist Church in Morgantown, Kentucky. As a young lady, she began her career as a beautician at the Christian Beauty Salon in Louisville until she and her family moved to Yeaman, Kentucky, in 1981. S

he and her husband returned to school at Western Kentucky University where they both graduated in 1988 with degrees in special education. Linda dearly loved her husband, two boys, and grandchildren beyond measure. She also loved her precious dogs, Zoey and Rocky.

She had so many interests – anything craft-related, acting in many productions at Pine Knob Theater, traveling, and advocating for those that needed help of any kind. Above all else, she was bold in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Ryan Miller, and her only sister, Shirley Morris.

Mrs. Miller leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 54 years, Milton “Junie” Miller, of Hartford; two sons, Sean (Bebelyn) Miller, of South Korea, and Brian (Amy) Miller, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren, Michael (Megan) Miller, Grace (Matt) Ramsey, Shelby Embry, Haley (Michael) Olivo, Spencer Embry, Kelsey (Quentin) Schul, BJ (Sabrina) Miller, Chase Miller, Austin Johnson, and Zayne Miller; and 13 great-grandchildren, Lyla, Alexis, Jaxon, Cameron, Tobias, Violet, Addison, Stephen, Lily, Levi, Reagan, Jonah, and Keegan.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
