HARTFORD, Ky. — Dennis L. Minton, 55 of Hartford, went to be with Jesus on March 1, 2023, surrounded by his loving family under the care of Hospice of Ohio County. He was born on Feb. 19, 1968, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Donald Ray and Mary Lou Maddox Minton.

Dennis was a carpenter by trade, he loved Jesus, could tell you anything about the Bible, and was extremely knowledgeable about end-time prophecy.

Dennis loved fishing, woodworking, landscaping, and old cars. He had a gentle spirit and a big heart for everyone.

Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, David Wayne Minton, and his best friend, Henry Bratcher.

He leaves behind to cherish many memories are his wife, Monica Dickerson Minton, of Hartford; three sisters, Debbie (John) Keener, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, Donna (Scott) Baize, of Beaver Dam, and Destiny Minton, of Louisville, Kentucky; nieces and nephews, Misty (Michael) Riger, of McHenry, Kentucky, Derek Bailey, of Hartford, Dustin Raley, of Rosine, Kentucky, Jordan Keener, of Centertown, Kentucky, Kasee Paxton, of Beaver Dam, Tesa Paxton, of Beaver Dam, Bowin Tichenor, of Louisville, Marianne Minton, of Union City, Tennessee, Cody Minton, of Union City, Tennessee, and Colton Minton, of Union City, Tennessee; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Minton.
