BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Leo Thomas Garrett, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, lost his long-time battle with multiple sclerosis under the care of Hospice of Southern Kentucky on Dec. 15, 2022. Leo was born February 10, 1957, in Livingston, Tennessee, to the late L.D. Tyson Garrett and the late Oma Bartlett Barrett.

Leo was retired from the United States Air Force where he served his country proudly. He was a die-hard Detroit Lions and Kentucky Wildcat Fan.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Samantha Jean; a brother, Ralph Garrett; and sisters, Ella Garrett and Bernice Johnson.

Leo is survived by his daughters, Jennifer, Brandy, Whisky Lee, and J.D. Garrett; two grandsons, Jackson and Noah, all of Bowling Green; his brothers, Tyson (Lisa) Garrett, Robert (Susan) Garrett, Jerry Glenn Garrett; his sisters, Dolly Rimbey, Patty (Richard) Young, Emma Parker, Janice McDaniel, and Tammy Haight; 26 nieces and nephews, several great- and great-great-nieces, -nephews, and many cousins.

A memorial service will be held in the spring for family and friends at Mt. Moriah Church Cemetery.
