CROMWELL, Ky. — Danny Renfrow, 70, of Cromwell, passed away Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022, at Ohio County Healthcare in Hartford, Kentucky. He was born on May 30, 1952, in Hartford, the son of the late Oma Rose Daugherty and Walker Renfrow, who survives.
Danny was a member of Oak Grove Church of God in Cromwell. He enjoyed hunting, cleaning his cars, going to the Smoky Mountains, and watching Jurassic Park. Danny Renfrow dedicated 45 years of his life to the Kentucky Coal Mines until his retirement in 2016. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and serving God.
Aside from his mother, Danny was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Renfrow; one brother, Ricky Renfrow; and one sister, Linda Moseley.
Left to honor Danny’s memory, are his wife of seventeen years, Joy Furgerson Renfrow; two daughters, Olivia Renfrow-Farris (John) and Amy Beddow (James); two stepchildren, Avery Barnes and Nicole Belle (T.D.); 11 grandchildren, Haley Kessinger, Tyler Kessinger, Ethan Farris, Georgia Farris, Braxton Beddow, Terryn Belle, Talyn Belle, Tatan Barnes, Maddie Barnes, Ava Beddow, and Alaina Beddow; one great-grandchild, Camssli Belle; his father, Walker Renfrow (Sherry); and four siblings, Timmy Renfrow (Terri), Shirley Geary (Billy), Melodye Goff (Ricky), and Tina Geary (Ricky).
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. (noon) on Friday, Dec. 16, at Oak Grove Church of God in Cromwell with Bro. Steve Leach officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday and again from 10 a.m. until service time on Friday at the church.
