RVBH to offer Hope for the Holidays mental health training

OWENSBORO, Ky. — This holiday season, RiverValley Behavioral Health will host Mental Health First Aid training throughout our service counties. MHFA is a course that teaches participants how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use crises.

All training sessions are free and will take place from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Food and refreshments will be provided and there will be a gift card raffle at each training.

RVBH will offer free MHFA training in the following counties:

Henderson County

Tuesday, Dec. 13, at The Port as 455 Klutey Park Plaza Dr. in Henderson. This training is for adults aiding adults.

Union County

Tuesday, Dec. 20, at the Union County Extension Office at 1938 U.S. 60 W in Morganfield. This training is for adults aiding adults.

Webster County

Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023, at the Webster County Extension Office at 1118 U.S. 41-A in South Dixon. This training is for adults aiding youths.

Ohio County

Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023, at the Ohio County Extension Office at 1337 Cly St. in Hartford. This training is for adults aiding youths.

Daviess County

Friday, Jan. 27, 2023, at First Christian Church at 700 J.R. Miller Blvd. in Owensboro. This training is for adults aiding adults.
