BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Wesley Ray Eads II, 62, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022, at Ohio County Healthcare. He was born Jan. 8, 1960, in Elgin, Illinois, to the late Wesley Ray Eads and Alice Ryburn Eads.
Wes retired from Labor Union #1392. He served in the United States Navy.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Beau Silas Harney.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 24 years on Oct. 16, Sherry Eads, of Beaver Dam; five children, Brent (Nici) Baize, of Illinois, Wesley Ray (Ashley) Eads III, of California, Steve Durbin, of Beaver Dam, Sam Durbin, of McHenry, Kentucky, and Savannah (Dewayne) Shrewsberry, of Beaver Dam; 19 grandchildren, Raelee, Nathan, Alex, and Jeb Baize, Conner, Hunter, Junior, and Daniel Gaither, Kyle Durbin, Steffani Suter, Britteny Harney, Kailei Crowe, Dakota, Nathaniel, Madison, and Dalton Durbin and Mackenzie, Mackiah and Mackeely Durbin; seven great-grandchildren with one on the way; three brothers, Jeff Eads, Steven Eads, and Tony Eads; his dogs, Cinnamon, Pete, Pippin and Luna; and his granddog, Willy.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Brent Baize and Ray Eads officiating. Burial will follow in Fisher Cemetery in McHenry with full military honors by the Ohio County Honor Guard. Friends may visit with Wes’ family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
