BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Paul Amos Glendenning, 96, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, at Ohio County Healthcare in Hartford, Kentucky. He was born on Sept. 14, 1925, in Mt. Hamill, Iowa, to the late Samuel Herbert Glendenning and Daisy Leona Howell.
Paul was a Wesleyan Minister for 80 years and was a Kentucky Colonel.
Aside from his parents, Paul is preceded in death by two sons, Paul Glendenning Jr. and David Lee Glendenning.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 76 years, Margaret Vess Glendenning; daughters, Marian Ray and Sarah Bowers; daughter-in-law, Roberta Glendenning; brother, Dale “Herb” Glendenning; one sister, Marilyn Schullerstrum; and eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
