GREENVILLE, Ky. — Henrietta Baize, 73, of Greenville, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022, at her home. She was born Sept. 2, 1948, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Henry Baize and Virginia Stewart Baize. Ms. Baize was a Kentucky Colonel. She enjoyed decorating, old westerns, music and most of all, her three granddaughters.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Roger Baize, Bobby Baize, and Wendell Baize, and sister-in-law, Sheila Baize.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, one daughter, Michelle Yarbrough, of Greenville; one son, Dawayne (Polly) Yarbrough, of Caneyville, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Regan, Addy, and Khloe Yarbrough; three brothers, Ricky Baize (Diane Fentress), of McHenry, Kentucky, Mickey Baize, of McHenry, and Larry (Patty) Baize, of Kuttawa, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Curtis McGehee and Bro. Mickey Baize officiating. Burial will follow in Fisher Cemetery in McHenry. Friends may visit with Ms. Baize’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
