OLNEY, Ill. — Sarah “Isabell” Taylor Rich, 69, of Olney, formerly of Rosine, Kentucky, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born Nov. 20, 1952, in Hartford, Kentucky, to the late Boyce Clive Taylor and Evelyn Marie Malburg Taylor.

Isabell was a homemaker and member of Olney Christian Fellowship Church. She enjoyed singing and playing music. Isabell proudly served in the United States Army.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Larry Rich, in December 2007; brother, James W. “Jimmie” Taylor; sister, Opal Taylor; and nephew, Jamie Taylor.

Isabell leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Boyce C. Rich, of Lafayette, Indiana; two sisters, Valeta Gart, of Corinth, Texas, and Melinda “Norine” Cottrill, of Louisville, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Carole Taylor, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, at Rosine Cemetery (Hwy 1544, Rosine, KY 42370) with Rev. Mike Taylor officiating. Full military honors will be provided by the Ohio County Honor Guard.
