BEAVER DAM, Ky. — William Thomas Brandon, 60, of Beaver Dam, died Thursday, July 14, 2022. William was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan.

He was a member of the Kingdom Hall in Beaver Dam.

William was an avid outdoorsman. He was most often found outside tending to his garden, feeding wildlife, and saving and nursing them back to health when needed. William never met a stranger. If you met him once, you could count on him remembering and talking to you any time he saw you after. The most important people in his life called him Papaw. He always had something to say about one, if not all, any time he spoke. They were his pride and joy and they felt the same about him. He had his grandkids out gardening, playing, or fishing; sharing his love of the outdoors with them. He never missed a birthday or sporting event – being a grandpa was a highlight of his life.

William loved being called a dad. He spoke to and visited his children often. If he said ‘I love you’ once, he said it 10 times in a conversation. There was never any room to doubt how he felt about them.

The loss of William is deeply felt. While we are so sad that he is gone, that means the love was big, and for that, we are incredibly blessed and thankful.

William was preceded in death by his parents, William H. Brandon and Marilyn L .Brandon.

Survivors include his brothers, Frank Brandon and Brian Brandon; his children, Timothy Brandon (Christy), Jessica Allen (Colton), Deric Brandon (Kendall) and Jackson Lindsey (Bailey); nephews, Russell Brandon and Dillon Brandon; niece, Lindsey Hamilton; grandchildren, Paige, Kwyn, Justus, Camryn, Ellie, Oliver, and Alice; and also cousins, aunts, and uncles.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Please look to Facebook and the Ohio County Times-News for that information.
