BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Donald E. “Donnie” Greenwell, 53, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at his residence. He was born November 28, 1968, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to Ronald Greenwell Sr. and June Williams Greenwell.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Vernon and Carrie Ashby William; paternal grandparents, William and Mary Tipmore Greenwell; his father, Ronald Greenwell Sr.; and a niece, Sarah Katlyn Greenwell.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife, Rachel Greenwell, of Beaver Dam; his mother, June Greenwell, of Beaver Dam; one brother, Ronald “Lee” (Charlene) Greenwell Jr., of McHenry, Kentucky; two sisters, Debra Lynn Rone, of Beaver Dam, and Sharon Kaye (David) Kelley, of Drakesboro, Kentucky; eight nieces and nephews, Nathan McIntyre, Michael Shields, David Lee Kelley, Christopher Kelley, William Kelley, Thomas (Ashley) Greenwell, Matthew (Katie) Greenwell, and Adam Greenwell; the entire Cardwell Family; and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial will follow in Pond Run Cemetery in Echols, Kentucky. Friends may visit with his family from 10 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
