LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Adeline Bohler, 86, of Louisville, passed away June 14, 2022. Adeline was born Oct. 20, 1935, to her parents, Louverene and Raymond Render.

She was one of 13 children in a loving and devoted Baptist household.

After completing high school and attending some college, Adeline opened and operated her own antique shop. She enjoyed going out and discovering unique and beautiful things. Her greatest treasure was her marriage to her wonderful husband of 59 years, Bobby Eugene Bohler.

She was a devoted wife mother and friend. Adeline regularly attended all her grandbabies’ sporting events, was an avid UK fan, and was known for taking pride in her style and elegance. She was a proud member of Beechland Baptist church and would frequently attend Sunday services. Her memory will be cherished by all those blessed enough to have known her.

She was preceded in death by her adoring husband of 59 years Bobby Bohler; parents, Louverene and Raymond Render; and her sister, Linda.

She is survived by her daughters April Brown (Ken), and Allison Bohler; grandchildren, Emma Preston (Lee), Elle Brown, and Beau Brown; nine loving siblings; and many friends, family, and extended family.

Donations can be made in Adeline’s memory to Beechland Baptist Church 4613 Greenwood Rd, Louisville KY, 40258.

Service will be held on Sunday June 19, at 3:30 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, Louisville KY, 40216. Visitation will be held on the same day from 10 a.m. until time of the service, at the funeral home. Burial will take place Wednesday, July 6, at 2:30 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, 2501 N Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, KY 40160.
