LEITCHFIELD, Ky. — Stephen D. Foster, 75, of Leitchfield, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022, at his home. He was born on May 19, 1947, in Hartford, Kentucky, the son of the late Ray and Dorothy Smith Foster.
He was the owner of Foster Cellular, Foster Monuments, Binkie Enterprises, Foster Insurance, and a former funeral director and embalmer at Watkins Funeral Home. He enjoyed computers and technology and was a member of the Leitchfield First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 54 years, Linda Ralph Foster, of Leitchfield; a son, Bret Foster (Sally), of Lexington, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Harrison Cash Foster and Lily Kate Foster; two sisters, Kathy Foster Bevil (Larry), of Cromwell, Kentucky, and Jeanie Kirtley (Frank), of Bowling Green, Kentucky; and his beloved dog, Bunni Cupcake Foster. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 19, at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Eddie Callaway will be officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford, Kentucky.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and from 9 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
