Hello, I’m Helen Dever and I’m running for the 4th District Magistrate.
Why? Because I am a life-long resident who will be a competent and fair voice who will represent the 4th District, and all of Ohio County, diligently and earnestly.
My long interest in Ohio County Fiscal Court is evidenced by my attending approximately 90 percent of the meetings during the past 16 years.
I strongly support:
•Ohio County as a safe place to worship, live, work and shop.
•Development of county-wide broadband internet service
•Education and Skills training
•Bringing more industry to our county
•Salaries that reflect or exceed surrounding counties’ wages
•Improvements to keep safe and maintained roads
•The current First Responders, Fire Departments, Law Enforcement, 911 Dispatch, EMS, and Food Pantries.
Currently, I hold the position of private pay biller and relief paramedic with the Ohio County Ambulance Service, where I’ve served for 39 ½ years. I attained my B.A. Degree from Kentucky Wesleyan College.
I humbly ask for your vote on May 17, 2022, for Magistrate of the 4th District.
