BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Dolores Jean Dockery, 86, of Beaver Dam, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Ohio County Healthcare. She was born Oct. 17, 1935, in San Francisco, California, to the late George Schroeder and Thelma Rhea Schroeder.
Mrs. Dockery was a homemaker and enjoyed making jewelry and cheering for the San Francisco Giants. She loved her cats, Mandy and Sandy but time with her family was her greatest joy.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Sebastian; brother, Mickey; and sisters, Missy and Honey.
Survivors include her husband, Cleo D. Dockery, of Beaver Dam; five children, Steve Dockery, of Moline, Illinois, Suzanne (David) Commins, of Berkeley, California, Kevin Dockery, of Hope, Indiana, Danelle (Scott) Rogers, of Corona, California, and Pam (Tom) McGinnis, of Shelbyville, Kentucky; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 13, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Cliff Davis officiating. Friends may visit with Mrs. Dockery’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
