BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Walton “Jewell” Taylor, 90, of Beaver Dam, passed away Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022, at Signature Healthcare of Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born Jan. 19, 1932, in Taylor Mine, Kentucky, to the late Walton Taylor and Corda Allen Taylor.

He was a self-employed truck driver and used tire salesman.

Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Joyce McGuyer Taylor, and four sisters, Zula Trodgen, Opal Daugherty, Thelma Eaden, and Palestene Brown.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, two nieces, Renae (Max) Ezell, of Utica, Kentucky, and Janie Paxton (Rob) Hamilton, of The Villages, Florida; two nephews, Tony (Brenda) Eaden, of Owensboro, Kentucky, and Jim (Brenda) Brown, of Bloomfield, Indiana; and several great-nieces and -nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, at Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam with Rev. John Cashion officiating. Full military honors will be provided by Ohio County Honor Guard. William L. Danks Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
