MADISONVILLE, Ky. — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 2 crews continue to clear snow and ice from the highways throughout the region. While crews have made good headway in clearing the roads, we still have a ways to go before motorists should drive as if they were on dry pavement.
This is not the time to be over-confident and drive as if the roads are clear just because you can see a little pavement. When you decide you can go a little faster because you see that smidge of pavement, focus on keeping your speed steady and remind yourself that you need to stay at that reduced speed.
