U.S. 62 “Rockport” Green River Bridge
MADISONVILLE, Ky. —The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) notifies the public of scheduled bridge inspections for the Rockport Bridge and the Spottsville Bridge.
- Located on U.S. 62 in Muhlenberg County, the Rockport Bridge spans the Green River at mile point 25.91. This inspection will be addressed Wednesday, Oct. 13.
- Located on U.S. 60 in Henderson County, the Spottsville Bridge spans the Green River at mile point 19.3. This inspection will be addressed Thursday, Oct. 14.
Motorists can expect lane restrictions from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days.
KYTC crews will utilize an Under Bridge Inspection Vehicle for the inspection.
KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays, and utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
