HORSE BRANCH, Ky. — Faron Lindsey Sr., 62, of Horse Branch, passed away Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. He was born Aug. 16, 1959, in Leitchfield, Kentucky, the son of the late Donald H. and Rhometta Sue (Lee) Lindsey.

Faron was a veteran of the United States Army serving for 17 years. He was employed for 42 years at Otis Bryant & Son. Faron loved life and lived to the fullest, always smiling and he never met a stranger. He was humble, kind, and had a big heart. He enjoyed mechanics, watching hummingbirds, going to yard sales, and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Nedra Henry.

Left to honor Faron’s memory are his children, Faron Jr. (Tiffany), Jeremy (Adriannia), Jullian (Tasha), and Tori Lindsey; seven grandchildren; four siblings, Nena Kelp, Farrell Lindsey (Roberta), Don Ferlin Lindsey (Cathy), and Joannie Miller, and his companion, Susan Stewart.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30, at Caneyville Memorial Chapel in Caneyville with Bro. Steve Mahurin officiating. Burial will be in the Lindsey Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
