CROMWELL, Ky. — John Edward Tines, 54, of Cromwell, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021, at Ohio County Healthcare. He was born on April 30, 1967, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Edith Colleen Sparrow Tines and the late Edward Lee Tines.
John was a member of Green River Baptist Church in Cromwell and he previously worked as a forklift driver at Packaging Unlimited in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and at DSSA.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Lee Tines.
He leaves behind to cherish many memories, his children, Justin (Jennifer) Tines, of Hartford, Kentucky, Jonathan (Donna) Tines, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and Linda (Stephen) Cox, of Owensboro, Kentucky; his mother, Colleen Tines, of Leitchfield, Kentucky; his companion, Kim Parrish, of Cromwell; and one sister, Julie (David) Richardson, of Leitchfield. John was blessed with nine grandchildren, Jessica, Katelyn, Natalie, Kaylee, Kyler, Kylie, Wade, Abby, and Ayden, and two nieces, Latisha and Kristin.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 10, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial will follow in Sandy Creek Cemetery in Butler County, Kentucky. Friends may visit with John’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
