UTICA, Ky. — Gary Glenn McCoy, 75, of Utica, passed away Monday, Aug. 9, 2021, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born August 21, 1945, in Madisonville, Kentucky, to the late Glenn Wilson McCoy and Ruth Virginia Ogelsby McCoy.
Mr. Mccoy retired from York Industries.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Marian McCoy, and his sister, Sheila Estes.
Mr. McCoy leaves behind to cherish his memory, one son, Barry (Krystle) McCoy, of Utica; one granddaughter, Mesha Smith; three great-grandchildren, Mahari Homer, Ceyon Homer and Aaliyah Drake; and one niece and one nephew.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky has been entrusted with arrangements.
