BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Timothy “Tim” Lloyd Farris, 61, of Beaver Dam, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021, at UK Medical Center in Lexington. He was born May 3, 1960, in Hartford, Kentucky, to the late Rosco “Curley” and Shirley Growbarger Farris.
Tim was a coal miner, loved his family, riding his motorcycle, and fishing.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Timothy L. Farris, II; three brothers, Larry, Michael, and Stanley Farris; and one nephew, Dennis Farris Jr.
He leaves behind to treasure many memories, his wife of 36 years, Vicky Farris, of Beaver Dam; son, Tyler (Brittini) Farris, of Beaver Dam; daughter at heart, Elaineia (Ronnie) Sailing, of Horse Branch, Kentucky; three granddaughters, Avery Farris, Elysia, and Elyjah Sailing; two brothers, Dennis (Debbie) Farris, of Centertown, Kentucky, and Jerry (Elaine) Farris, of Beaver Dam; sister, Shelia Farris, of Beaver Dam; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Bandit.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 3, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Betty Shaver officiating. Burial will follow in Echols Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with Tim’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
