ALVATON, Ky. — Charlotte White, 75 of Alvaton, formerly of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021, at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Charlotte was born on Thursday, Aug. 23, 1945, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Claude and Belvie Baize Leach and wife of the late Charles Leland White.

She was a member of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church and a retired LPN from Morgantown Care and Rehab after 33 years of service. Charlotte enjoyed attending church and her church family, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Jean Parks and Anna Murlene Miller, and three brothers, Floyd, Roger, and Larry Leach.

Charlotte White is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Madison, and husband, James Paul, of Alvaton; one son, Tim White, and wife, Pamela, of Thornton, New Hampshire; three grandchildren, Elliott Madison, of Scottsville, Kentucky, Spencer White, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Shelby White, of South Korea; two brothers, Harrel Leach, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and Darrel Leach, and wife, Betty, of Beaver Dam; sisters-in-law, Shirley Leach, of Fulton, Kentucky, and Bernice Sublett, and husband, Eddie, of Morgantown; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Thursday, May 6, at 2 p.m. with Bro. Steve Leach officiating. Burial will be held in the New Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 6, from 11 a.m. until funeral time at 2 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
