HORSE BRANCH, Ky. — Mary Elizabeth Calloway, 74, of Horse Branch, went to her heavenly home on April 12, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born April 22, 1946, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Adrain and Flora Voyles Dockery.
Ms. Calloway retired from Professional Care Nursing & Rehab after over 30 years of service. She was a member of Longview Baptist Church.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, RV Dockery and Carl Dockery; one sister, Opal Ward; and one great-grandson, Rayden Gage Smith.
She leaves behind to treasure many memories, one son, Ricky (Angela Tindle) Calloway, of Livermore, Kentucky; one daughter, Linda (Tim) Smith, of Horse Branch; eight grandchildren, Ashley (Dewey) Wilhite, Alisha Calloway, Amber Calloway, Patricia Slaton, Robert Slaton, Stephanie Calloway, Angela (Cain) Pierce, and Christopher (Trina) Smith; 20 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Dairl Dockery, of Hartford, and Jerry (Debbie) Dockery, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 16, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Bro. Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Carson Cemetery in Hartford, Kentucky. Friends may visit with the family from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
