HARTFORD, Ky. — Marvin Lee Hoggard, 77, of Hartford, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford. He was born April 12, 1943, in Cleaton, Kentucky the son of the late William Rollins and Jeenny Smith Hoggard.
Being the sweetest man around, Marvin had a happy-go-lucky attitude. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather.
Aside from his parents, Marvin was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Faye Hoggard; one daughter, Janice Beitel; one granddaughter, Susie Marie Lindsey, and several brothers and sisters.
Left to honor Marvin’s memory are his children, Melissa Frank (Alan), Gracie Cockrell (Michael), and Donald Goodman (Janie), 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
