HARTFORD, Ky. — Auburn LaDon Daugherty, 62, of Hartford, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021, at his residence. He was born Jan. 14, 1959, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Auburn L. and Wanda Mae King Daugherty. Mr. Daugherty was a retired heavy equipment operator.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Mary Diane Lane, Dvonia Sue Baughn, Paula Gail Flener, and Trena Mae Willoughby.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Mary Joyce Taylor; one son, James Auburn (Ashley) Daugherty, of St. Cloud, Florida; two grandsons, Liam and Jonas Daugherty; and one sister, Sherlene (William) Woolen, of Evansville, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. James Barbee officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Ohio County, Kentucky. Friends may visit with the family from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
