The Ohio County Public Library is seeking an energetic, team-oriented part-time Circulation Assistant with a strong public service commitment. Candidates for this position will provide exemplary library service to all Ohio County. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Tasks:
- Assist with checking in and checking out of library materials
- Assist with programming to all ages
- Demonstrate the following qualities
- Correct usage of grammar
- Ability to multitask
- Organizational skills
- Possess a positive service-oriented attitude
- Assist patrons with using card catalog or computers
- Shelving books and other library materials
- Answer the phone and greet the public with prompt friendly service
- Maintain physical arrangement and tidiness of the library
- Be available for Weekday, Saturday, and Evening hours
- Possess computer skills such as proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and various Internet platforms or a willingness to learn
