ROCKPORT, Ky. — Anna Rose McCormick, 84, of Rockport, passed away Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, at Ohio County Healthcare under the care of Hospice of Ohio County. She was born Dec. 12, 1936, in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, to the late Paul Joseph McCormick and Lucy Belle Lloyd McCormick.

Ms. McCormick retired from Perdue. She loved life in general and her last words on earth were “I have a beautiful family and I love them very much.” She will be greatly missed by all that knew and her precious doggie, Cooper.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Lynn Cannova; one son-in-law, Sam Robinson; and five siblings, Vivian Rheinhart, Grace McCormick, Christine Foster, Paul McCormick Jr., and Gerald McCormick.

Ms. McCormick leaves behind to treasure many memories, her son, Joseph “Pookie” (Tawna) Williams, of Rockport; two daughters, Nina (Eddie) Poe, of Paducah, Kentucky, and Mary Ann Robinson of Ashville, North Carolina; 10 grandchildren, Amanda Mitchell, Christopher (Tasha) Wilkerson, Elizabeth Rolon, Crystal Hawkins Erin (Steven) Spurling, Cierra Austin, Tessa Austin, Winter Williams, Arnora Adams, and Nells Adams; 14 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren, with twins on the way; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a-later-date. William L. Danks Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
