HARTFORD, Ky. — Lena McKinney Romans, 87, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, at Signature Health Care in Hartford. She was born in Quality, Kentucky, daughter of the late Pearl and Sally Hayes McKinney.
Lena was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church where she served as Children’s Education Director. She was active in WMU and worked for Kentucky Baptist Convention for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Romans.
Survivors include her sister, Edna Goff, two nephews, and three nieces.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. John Cashion and Dr. Glenn Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
The family asks that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Ohio County Food Pantry, 2370 St Rt 1414 Hartford, KY 42347. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
