MORGANTOWN, Ky. — Joyce McKinney Taylor, 82, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, at her residence. She was born July 30, 1938, in the Quality Community of Butler County, Kentucky, to the late Rollie McKinney and Nellie Ann Proctor Osborne.

Joyce was a member of Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed square dancing and crocheting. Joyce was retired from the Butler County Library, she was the operator and driver for the Book Mobile delivering books to homes in Butler County for many years.

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Herbert Beldon Howard; second husband, Arthur Kibby Taylor; one sister, Loyce McKinney Champion; and one brother, Jim Osborne.

Joyce McKinney Taylor is survived by two daughters, Lori Howard, of Morgantown, Kentucky, and Glenda McChesney (Mark), of Hopewell, Virginia; four grandchildren, Jyme Kessinger, of Morgantown, Rachel Daugherty, of Morgantown, Tawny Daugherty (Kalem Hunt), of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and Charles McChesney, of Hopewell, Virginia; three great-grandchildren, Beldon Daugherty, of Morgantown, Raegan Hunt, of Beaver Dam, and Elijah Hunt, of Beaver Dam; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life and burial will be held at a later date, arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Chapel.
