BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Due to a rise in local COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations, after consultation with healthcare professionals, the Beaver Dam Tourism Commission has made the decision to postpone the start of its weekly “Sounds on Second” concert series and Sparks in the Park. Both events were set to take place this weekend. These cancellations were made in the interests of public health and safety.

The Sounds on Second season was scheduled to start tomorrow, July 3. A new starting date will be announced at a later time.

Sparks in the Park was set for Saturday, July 4. Those who purchased tickets will receive a full refund.

A city fireworks display will still proceed as planned Saturday night. The fireworks will be set off near the Beaver Dam City Park. People in the vicinity are encouraged to watch the display from their homes or vehicles.
