MORGANTOWN, Ky. — Linda Lou Wingfield, 79, of Morgantown, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at her residence. She was born in Ohio County, Kentucky, on Feb. 6, 1941, to the late Hobert and Gusta McKinney Wingfield.
Linda was a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading books and coloring in coloring books.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Freda Hope.
She is survived by her sister, Shirley Neighbors; nephews, Danny Blanchard (Lori) and Terry Blanchard; and great-nephews Joel Blanchard and Jacob Blanchard.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 19, at 11 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. David Youngblood officiating. Burial will follow in the Cook Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 4:30 p.m. until 8p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
