BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Edna Mae Wester, 65, of Bowling Green, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020, at her home. She was born on Dec. 11, 1954, in Bowling Green, to the late Reggie McKinney and Dorothy Evans.

Edna loved listening to the TV, especially Law and Order SVU, NASCAR, and Mountain Men. She loved peanut butter pie, cheesecake, and pecan pie. Despite being blind she was able to beat her family playing bowling on Nintendo WII. Most of all Edna loved spending time with her family.

Aside from her parents, Edna is preceded in passing by her grandparents, Thomas and Silvia Evans, and three brothers, James McKinney, Kenneth McKinney, and Jerry Evans.

Edna is survived by her husband of nine years, Carlie Wester Sr.; her siblings, David (JoAnna) McKinney, of Florida, Bess (Bill) Daugherty, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and Peggy Evans, of Morgantown, Kentucky; three daughters, Della (David) Vanover, of Bowling Green, Angela Smith, and Jessica Flener, of Morgantown; one son, Carlie Wester II, of Owensboro; 11 grandchildren, Gage, Emily, Raylynn, Kenndin, Shaydenn, J.W., Liz, Sierra, Autumn, Lily, and Marianna; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
