HARTFORD, Ky. — Ohio County Healthcare is awaiting the results of 42 COVID-19 tests after testing 158 patients and it wants to remind Ohio County there are now three OCH Screening Center locations, one in Hartford, Fordsville and Morgantown. All of those locations have Gravity Diagnostic on-site testing for patients who meet the criteria. Testing result turn-around time has reduced in most cases to 48 hours.
According to OCG, Kentucky healthcare systems have not yet reached the projected peak utilization. Across the state, the number of positive cases continues to rise. An increase of confirmed COVID-19 cases is anticipated for several more weeks. The more capacity for testing has only demonstrated that COVID-19 is still very active and present in all communities.
OCH asks Ohio Countians to re-commit to social distancing measures. The end is in sight, but we are not there yet.
