HARTFORD, Ky. — Just as the Green River District Health Department reported earlier today, Ohio County Healthcare also reports no new cases of COVID-19 as of noon Thursday, April 9, 2020. Ohio County has a total of seven confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Of those seven cases, three are currently hospitalized and the other four were hospitalized, but are now recovering elsewhere. According to the GRDHD, none of the seven Ohio County patients have fully recovered at this time. Ohio County Judge-Executive David Johnston, in his COVID-19 update from April 7, hoped to be able to put a few on the recovered list at the end of this week.

OCH tested six additional patients yesterday for a total of 41 and has 10 pending results.

Social distancing measures are more important than ever as OCH continues to see increased virus activity. Stay home. Wash your hands. Wear a face covering in public or in a work environment that does not allow for a six-foot social distancing area.
