MT. VERNON, Ind. — Kenneth Ray Colburn, 63, of Mt. Vernon, Indiana, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020, at his home. He was born on April 19, 1956, in Beaver Dam, Kentucky, to the late Alford Long and Thelma Marie Brown Colburn.

Kenneth worked as a machine operator for Charles Chips in Calhoun.

Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin sister, Wanda Mae Colburn, and two brothers, Carry Colburn and James Brown.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory two children, Perry Ray (Jessica) Colburn, of Beaver Dam, and Kristie Colburn (Mike Sapp), of Fordsville, Kentucky; his siblings, Barbara Colburn, of Owensboro, Kentucky, Kathy Colburn, of Evansville, Indiana, Alice Renfrow, of Island, Kentucky, and Otis Renfrow, of Cromwell, Kentucky. Kenneth was blessed with 12 grandchildren, Samuel Ball, Jazmine Gray, Bryson Calloway, Kendra Colburn, Destinee DeHart, Christopher Colburn, Logan Colburn, Alissa Colburn, Alex Cherry, Derek Cherry, Chase Colburn and Chloe Colburn.

Private family graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Cromwell with Bro. Bill Willis officiating. William L. Danks Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
