EDDYVILLE, Ky. — Thomas L. Seaton, 81, of Eddyville, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2020, at his home. He was born July 12, 1938, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to the late John Murray and Thelma Lois Howard Seaton.
Mr. Seaton was a retired foreman from the Indiana Steel Mills and of the Baptist Faith.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Thomas John Seaton; one brother, James Michael Seaton; and an infant sister, Judy Seaton.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Patsy “Pat” Harris Seaton, of Eddyville; son, Thomas L. Seaton Jr., of Oakland, California; daughter, Cheri L. (Caleb) Orth, of Troy, Missouri; three grandchildren, Colleen J. Seaton (Dan) Pitrus, Brittany S. Kabacinski and Brooke Kabacinski; two great-grandsons, Lincoln and Theodore Pitrus; and one sister, Olevia Seaton Clark of Owensboro.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with Mr. Seaton’s family from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
