HARTFORD, Ky. — Thomas Estil Fulkerson, 93, of Hartford, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019, at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford. Thomas Estil Fulkerson was born Oct. 8, 1926, in McLean County, Kentucky, to the late Willie Clay and Emma Evans Fulkerson.

He was a farmer and member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Whitesville, Kentucky.

In addition to his parents, Thomas Estil was preceded in death by his first wife, Mable S. Fulkerson; his second wife, Laura E. “Bug” Carter; a daughter, Wilma E. Smallwood; a son, James M. Fulkerson; and a grandson, Lee Smallwood.

Survivors include three sons, Thomas Fulkerson, William “Dubby” Fulkerson, and Marvin Fulkerson, all of Hartford; a daughter, Patricia Smallwood, of Hartford; 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph Fulkerson, of Narrows, Kentucky, and Charles Fulkerson, of Hartford; and a sister, Ava Merle Wortham, of Hartford.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Jegin Puthenpurackal officiating. Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Thomas Estil’s family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday at Musters in Calhoun.
